Youth for the Quality Care of Animals Training

This training is required for beef, dairy, goats, sheep, swine, and market poultry & rabbits exhibitors.  There will be 3 face to face trainings (see events calendar for the dates) or you may complete the online learning modules.  You can use the following link to sign up for face to face sessions or to take the online training.  https://yqca.learngrow.io

What does each fair ribbon color mean?

Fair Exhibit Label need to include: Class Number, Product, 4 H member’s Name, and District. This is used for all static exhibits except for those listed below. Use label Avery 5160

Food Preservation label need to include: Class Number, Division, Product, Canning Method, Process Time, Pressure (psi), date processed including month and year, Name, and District. Use label Avery 5163.  Labels in Word

Clothing, Fiber Arts or other exhibits needing a cloth label, use a piece of cloth with a permanent or laundry type marker. Labels should be about 3” x 2½” in size and include Exhibitor name, Class Number and District.

4-H Enrollment - October 1 - 31

All returning members and volunteers should re-enroll by November 1. Beginning the fall of 2018 the re-enrollment policy with consequences for late enrollment will be in effect. Please be sure to maintain your information in your 4-H online account (phone, email, address, project changes).
