How to Join 4-H Club Contact Information

We encourage you to visit several clubs before joining. Talk to the leaders, members and parents to help make sure it's the right "fit" for you.


Painting on Fondant

This class will be lead by 4-H member Hannah Allen at the Rock Creek Bible Church located at 5257 Hwy K 92, Meriden Kansas.  The class will 6:00-8:00 p.m. all material will be provided.  There is a $10 non-refundable fee to cover the class supplies.  Class size is limited to 15.   All are welcome, preference will be given to 4H'er's.  Registration along with payment must be received at our office by April 10th. Jefferson County Poultry Show 

Jefferson Spring Poultry show happening April 28th in Valley Falls.  Attached is the entry form and information for the show.  There are not a lot of opportunities to attend shows like this, especially locally, so please take advantage and help spread the word!  Questions may be directed to Katie Bower at: kaitlynlu@hotmail.com or 785-231-0413.

 

The livestock entry forms listed below are required for entry in the Jefferson County 4-H Fair.  Please print the forms two sided and bring with you to the appropriate weigh-in.  You may also pick up a pre-printed copy from the office when you purchase your tags.  Please contact our office with any questions.

Jefferson County 4-H Foundation

The Foundation seeks to encourage 4-Hers to attend area, state and national events, by providing financial assistance. Funds are raised through generous donations and fund-raising efforts.  Donations and memorial funds also support higher education through scholarship awards.
