2018 Fair Information

Fair Dates
Jackson County Fair - July 23-26, 2018
Jefferson County Fair - July 30 - August 2, 2018
Nemaha County Fair - July 27-30, 2018


Fair Exhibit Label need to include: Class Number, Product, 4 H member’s Name, and District. This is used for all static exhibits except for those listed below. Use label Avery 5160

Food Preservation label need to include: Class Number, Division, Product, Canning Method, Process Time, Pressure (psi), date processed including month and year, Name, and District. Use label Avery 5163.

Clothing, Fiber Arts or other exhibits needing a cloth label, use a piece of cloth with a permanent or laundry type marker. Labels should be about 3” x 2½” in size and include Exhibitor name, Class Number and District.


4-H Enrollment - October 2 - 31

All returning members and volunteers should re-enroll by November 1. Beginning the fall of 2017 the re-enrollment policy with consequences for late enrollment will be in effect. Please be sure to maintain your information in your 4-H online account (phone, email, address, project changes).

State Project & Scholarship Winners Announced

District 4-Hers represented at Emerald Circle.  Project winners were Karrie Van Winkle in Dog, Cara Knapp in Family Studies, Andrew Noll in Poultry, and Samantha Beauchamp in Shooting Sports.  State Scholarship winners were Karrie Van Winkle, Payden Barrett, and Elizabeth Roach.
